Providing an upscale salon & boutique with an industrial modern edge.

For the interior decor of Wink: Heads & Threads, Christine DiBenedetto and Gilda Santiago asked for a clever mix of old and new. The result: an unpredicable combination of interesting architectural elements and mid century modern furnishings with an industrial modern twist. A 1920s metal industrial ladder paired with Saarinnen-style tables along with a richly restored, oversized carpenter bench and a deco mint green pedestal sink provide innovative display elements for the boutique. Stepping into the sleek salon, a cantileavered reception desk, a danish modern teak screen and a pair of vintage side chairs juxtapose the custom-built, 80s-inspired salon fixtures and modern free-standing station.
